Carving Out Time

Lately I have been literally "carving" out time to make my own jewelry collection outside of my full time job. When I say carving I mean physically carving --- carving wax that is. I have been working on making my own collection for a WHILE now... unfortunately I haven't gotten too far --- BUT that will change! ;)

My goal is to have a full collection that will mirror the look of my Strength hoops (you can find them under the SHOP tab above). This collection would include rings, pendants, and a few more earrings to round it out. I am planning to have these complete and available for purchase right after Thanksgiving and just in time for the Holidays! That being said, I will also need to clear out a few of my last collection to make room for the new. I will be posting items on my Instagram stories and Facebook page this weekend (Nov. 10th and Nov. 11th) of items that I will no longer be making. These pieces aren't posted for sale online at the moment so this will be the only way to grab them at a really great price! Again-- just in time for the gifting season! Who doesn't want a handmade, one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry!

This is a fairly short post but I wanted to keep you up to date on what I've been working on and hopefully get you excited for what is to come! I CAN'T WAIT! It has been a bit of a challenge moving to a new city and trying to get things back in order to begin designing my collection again -- but let me tell you it is so worth it! Every ounce of energy I put into my work I feel such a sense of accomplishment.

It is so hard for us to make time to do things that we enjoy--even when they are so important to us. Not only do I want to share my journey with you but I want to encourage YOU to make time to do something you enjoy -- whatever it may be! Maybe you take a walk, read a book, enjoy a bubble bath, plan a trip -- it doesn't have to be something totally crazy! Regardless, just do it, you'll be happy that you did!
