3 Tips To Boost Your Confidence Immediately!

Do you ever feel like you're in a weird mood and need a bit of a boost?? It’s been an emotional rollercoaster over the past year for so many people. I have made it a priority to get myself into a badassery state of mind each and everyday! It’s not always easy but it is always worth it!

I wanted to share a few of my quick tips that are guaranteed to get you out of that funk and feeling great in no time! Make yourself and your confidence a priority and I promise you will be swimming in confidence in no time!

1. Make a List of Your Accomplishments 
.
So often we forget just how many things we’ve achieved and how far we’ve come. Take a second to reflect on your accomplishments and write them down! These can even be things you’ve accomplished this morning - maybe you put away the dishes or made the bed -- or maybe they are accomplishments from the recent month or year! I’m sure you don’t give yourself enough time to reflect and admire just how awesome you are-- so take a minute and bask in your awesomeness! I want to challenge you to put at least 10 things on this list (even though I know you have way more than 10!) don’t just stop at one or two! This reflection is sure to give you a great reminder of the badass you are!

2. Get Dressed Up
.
I know, I know. You’ve heard this before. But guess what?? That’s because it works! Regardless as to if you are getting dressed up for the day or maybe you want to plan something fun for a night out (or in!) go a little over the top! Do something a little different with your make up -- put on something you know you will feel great in -- and of course you cannot forget the jewels! Put on those hoops that make you feel like a total boss! (And if you don’t have those -- GIRL! You NEED them!!! Grab some Strength Hoops immediately-- RUN, don’t walk!) Getting dressed up is an instant mood boost and I promise this will make you feel more confident!

3. Do something that Scares You! - 5-4-3-2-1- GO! 
.
Is there something that you’ve been putting off? Or maybe something you just realized you need to do but it scares the sh*t outta ya?? I feel like I’m in this position more times than not. But -- when you overcome these things that terrify you, you feel SOOOO good. Like you could actually take on the world! Not to mention, you always think, why was I putting that off so long, or why was I so scared?? 
.
I have a trick that you can use when you are in these moments! I learned this technique from Mel Robbins -- it is called 5-4-3-2-1- GO! To break it down, when making a decision there is a 5 second window between hesitation and action. When you have these moments of “should I”... you count down from five -- 5-4-3-2-1 - then just do the thing!! You have to give yourself a little push sometimes and this technique is GOLDEN! I use this regularly -- even with something as simple as getting out of bed when my alarm goes off. No time to back out -- just got to go for it!
